While Peter Parker fights for his life in a hospital bed, Ben Reilly fights for his life against the all new and even deadlier Hammerhead! Includes an Onslaught update! (from MyComicShop.com)
======================================================
Peter Parkers ill at deaths door and Hammerhead has stashed himself away in the same hospital, getting fixed up from his last go-around with Fortunatos boys. The steel-skulled crook has his old techno-suit re-vamped and is going to get some answers concerning the new crime boss of New York. Who better than crack Bugle-journalist, Ben Urich!
Ben Reilly spies Ben getting abducted and slips into his reds-and-blues. He confronts Hammerhead, whose new suit gives him augmented abilities. The big galoot goes on and on about some huge gang-war thats about to go down, but that doesnt stop Spidey from tearing out Hammerheads suit. The crook fires at oxygen tanks behind Ben and they explode, leaving Spider-Man knocked silly.
Hammerheads gone, but Spidey cant worry about that, because theres a code blue in Peters room and he shows up just in time to say good-bye to Peter forever, as his heart slowly stops. . . . (from SpiderFan.org) |
