Tuesday April 12 2016 - Versus RochesterRasssler | Recent matches
I just had a match yesterday night with RochesterRasssler from Globalfight. Yes, his nickname comes with 3 "sss". I suppose its either a typo or somebody else took the 2 "ss" variant. RochesterRasssler is quite a nice guy, friendly both off and on the mats. He is a jobber that usually go for bigger and heavier opponents, but he thankfully made an exception from me. Despite wanting to be a jobber, he can look like a heel because he'll fight for it and makes sure you don't get easy holds on him. Everybody likes a jobber with a bit of spark and fight in them. We've concluded that the style of the match is more promission rather than pure heel vs jobber. Here's a basic Bearhug and Body Scissor Combo you guys are all familiar with by now. Yes, I love squeezing my opponents in this hold. He made me do a Small Package which I always never remember the name until he reminded me. Since it's rarely in my arsenal of usual holds mostly due to my forgetfulness, I was more than happy to oblige: How else do you finish a good match other than with my traditional Super Torture Rack of Strength? RochesterRasssler mentioned to me that his last visit in Montreal was 12 years ago. Here's to hoping that our next match will be much sooner, rather than in 12 years. I know it's a bit unusual for me to be the heel considering that I prefer to be the jobber, but I did learn throughout the years that you need to be a bit of both if you want to meet more wrestlers around the world. Very few people nowadays are interested in one-sided squash matches.
