Monday July 1 2024 - The Return of Bartramia	Visitors in town
Bartramia was my champion tag team partner during Clash 2018. Back then, I referred to him as J because I didn't know what was his MeetFighters profile until now. Bartramia initially requested that we wrestle in a ring, but I've told him that I no longer have access to it. In fact, I believe the last time I was in that ring was in 2017. Since then, Bella (the owner) moved away in the quest for a search of a big loft or studio that has a higher ceiling. Her ultimate goal was to jump off from the top rope and perform her stunts for her wrestling shows. I never heard back from her ever since. I really had no choice but to suggest to Batramia that we wrestle on my mats. He requested that I bring more wrestlers. The more, the merrier. I told him I have trouble myself finding regulars in Montreal or people that are reliable. The only one I could think at the top of my head that has a good amount of reliability is Vicious. We agreed on a time and eventually all three of us showed up and although Vicious and I started with light sub, the consensus was that we would wrestle pro fantasy or at the maximum, stiff pro (pro fantasy with some pressure and some thrust in those gut punches). We alternated between each other, occasionally doing a bit of 2 on 1. Vicious picked up very quickly the pro fantasy style even though his preference is submission. I felt some of the hits that we traded between the three of us were a bit harsher than I would expected: I guess in the heat of the action, it is quite hard to control our strength. There was this phase where Bartramia lifted my head and slammed it on the mats, and I actually could see a couple of stars spinning around my head. ⭐🤪⭐ Nevertheless, nobody was harmed and we had quite some fun. I think we tangled for roughly more than an hour and then we've decided to rush to a restaurant because we were hungry. We went to the Pizzeria Gepetta, but the kitchen was unfortunately closed. While we were scrambling on deciding where we wanted to go next at this time of the night (because most places in Montreal close around 9 pm), one of the waiters from the Pizzeria went out and told us that the kitchen gave them then green light to cook for us. That were very nice of them. 😅 We had a nice meal and I was surprised to hear Vicious having an interest about American politics, so he asked a few questions to Bartramia who gladly answered for him his views about the state of the affairs in the US. I admit that's a sensitive subject that I usually leave out of wrestling, but I'm not opposed if someone else brings it up because they have a passion for it. I also understand Vicious' interest about it: what happens in the US will really affect Canada since we're a direct partner. After our supper, we made our good-byes and Bartramia suggested and hopes that our next match will be in a ring. Either I find a new ring that doesn't require professional insurance in Montreal or I one day meet him again in a ring in the US, perhaps at an event.
