Thursday August 1 2024 - Sam	Visitors in town
I had the honor of wrestling Sam (id 3998) yesterday. He drove up for four hours and a half from his last US location to cross the border and do a visit in Montreal to help a friend. During his stay, he has decided to have a few matches along the way. Sam has more than 200 opponents under his belt, so he is definitely a veteran and knew what he was doing. His movements were fluid and his holds were effective. We wrestled light submission along with trading holds. My AC system broke so we both broke down a sweat. 😅 I think we wrestled for about 2-3 hours intermingled with a chat here and there about our past wrestling experiences. Sam also has training with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but that was a long time ago and he kept its usage to a minimum during our encounter. It did give him an upper hand once in a while, but I didn't mind being tossed around or choked to submission. He certainly knew how to break away from scissors, that I would give him that! I remember seeing at least a decade ago his profile on several sites. It's nice to see that we were finally able to lock horns. That being said, after our bout, my opinion of him is that he's a fun wrestler and my doors are always open for a future match. 🤗
